SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AT TIM SA
Our ambition is to be a leader not only in the electrotechnical industry, but also in responsible and sustainable business conduct.
Our approach to ESG
Responsible business conduct
At TIM SA, we understand ESG as a coherent way of thinking about responsible business conduct – not as a one-off project or report. Our activities include both the development of people and organisation, as well as cooperation with our environment in a spirit of partnership and trust.
For us, ESG is an integral part of our organisational culture – it influences strategic decisions, our relationships with stakeholders and the way we build the company’s future.
Environment
Education and knowledge
for the industry
We support the development of skills in the electrical industry through the “Łączy nas napięcie” portal. We publish expert articles, infographics and industry reports.
Governance
We manage responsibly and transparently.
We operate in accordance with the highest ethical standards and regularly report sustainability-related data.
- For years, we have presented our sustainability development activities in the “Responsible Business in Poland. Good Practices” reports, published by the Responsible Business Forum.
- Our suppliers are assessed against environmental and social criteria and also undertake to comply with the Würth Supplier Code of Conduct.
- As part of the Würth Group, we follow its regulations on business conduct and corporate culture.
Compliance and Ethics at TIM SA
As part of the international Würth Group, we adhere to the highest ethical, legal and organisational standards. TIM SA has clearly defined rules in place to ensure transparency and compliance of our activities with the legal regulations and the standards of Würth Group.
ESG reports and statements
We publish annual ESG reports and summaries of activities in the areas of the environment, society and corporate governance. Here you will find our declarations, objectives and results from recent years.
Together, we build a responsible business
Every day, we build the future with respect for people, the environment and ethical principles.
Social
Since the beginning of the initiative, we have supported 112 organisations and exceeded PLN 2 million in financial support.
What makes our programme stand out is its participatory model:
- Projects are submitted by TIM employees.
- The final decision on the selection of beneficiaries is made by all employees in an online vote.
Thanks to these grants, we have already supported, for example:
- children’s sports clubs,
- community centres,
- care and educational facilities,
- health-promoting and social initiatives.
Employees can:
- devote part of their working time to volunteering activities,
- initiate their own social campaigns and projects,
- take part in charity, educational and sports events,
- act locally – within their own communities and in response to real needs.
