Reporting Violations

Mutual trust, reliability, honesty, and straightforwardness—both internally and externally—are the fundamental principles deeply rooted in the corporate culture of the Würth Group, of which TIM SA is also a part. The Group’s commitment to these values was first articulated in the Corporate Philosophy, which was written by Reinhold Würth in the 1970s.

It is the responsibility of every employee of a company within the Würth Group to act in accordance with these principles. We expect every employee to comply with the law and our policies, and conduct that violates the law or our policies will not be tolerated. This also includes reporting any such violations to the appropriate authorities. This is an expression of moral courage and responsibility on the part of all employees.

To achieve this goal, the Würth Group has established a reporting procedure that allows for the reporting of any irregularities in the workplace at Würth Group companies. Through our SpeakUp reporting system, you can report information regarding irregularities or even criminal activities completely anonymously.

Through the reporting mailbox, you—as a reporter—can communicate with a staff member from the relevant reporting department. When using this mailbox, confidentiality regarding the identity and personal data of both the reporter and the person who is the subject of the report is ensured. Every person who reports irregularities is protected against any form of discrimination.

All reports are processed with strict confidentiality by designated compliance specialists at the Würth Group level, in close cooperation with the relevant management. The individuals entrusted with processing the reports are independent, impartial, and not bound by any instructions. In particular, they are bound by a duty of confidentiality.

Immediately upon receiving a complaint or report—but no later than 7 days after receipt—we will send you an acknowledgment of receipt. We will then investigate the suspicious facts you have reported and clarify any unresolved issues. Within 3 months of receiving this acknowledgment, you will receive feedback regarding the planned and already taken follow-up actions, as well as the reasons for them.

If a user has submitted a report and would like to meet in person with the person responsible for handling the report, we will arrange for this to happen within a reasonable timeframe. If you agree, this meeting may also take place via video and audio conference.

All information and documents provided to us will, of course, be treated as strictly confidential and in accordance with applicable data protection laws. The confidentiality of your identity will be maintained, and you will be effectively protected against any discrimination.

In addition to the internal units available within the Würth Group, you may submit your reports to external entities. In Poland, pursuant to the Whistleblower Protection Act enacted on June 14, 2024, an external report may be filed with the competent public authority or the Ombudsman.
